Non-ordained Positions:Director of Pre-Teen/Sports
Ministries,
First Presbyterian Church, Bakersfield,
is an active and growing downtown congregation of 1000 active members. We
seek a Christ-centered leader who can provide leadership and oversight to our
Pre-Teen / Sports Ministries. The position works with youth and childrens'
ministry teams, sharing an Administrator of Student Ministries for support. This
person will be directly responsible for our 4-6 grade fellowship, a weekly After
School program, and a Sports ministry including Upward Basketball, indoor
soccer, and men's basketball. This position is accountable to the Executve
Pastor and the church's CE Committee. We seek someone who feels called
specifically to Youth Ministry. Must be a capable organizer, recruiter, and a
Christian of both emotional and faithful maturity. Position Available
